Ingredients

1 cup of Beef shank

1 cup of Potato pieces

1 ½ cup of Hominy

200 grams of Beef

1 pinch of Pepper

1 teaspoon of Mint

Oregano

Onion

Carrots

1 pinch of Salt

Preparation

Step 1 : To prepare this soup, first boil the hominy until tender.

Step 2 : The beef shank should also be soaked and peeled.

Step 3 : It is recommended to soak the beef shank and hominy overnight.

Step 4 : Then, peel the potatoes and cut them into medium-sized pieces, as well as the vegetables, which should be sliced into elongated pieces.

Step 5 : The soup is prepared with the meat, which is preferable to have softened beforehand.

Step 6 : To achieve this, papaya is often used.

Step 7 : Once all the ingredients are cooked, the soup is served in deep dishes.

Step 8 : For a more traditional touch, clay bowls can be used.
