Ingredients

4 Medium-sized pieces of meat

4 Potatoes

1 cup of Cooked peas

1 cup of Shelled peanuts, not toasted

1 Onion

2 Garlic cloves

2 Carrots

½ Red chili pepper

1 Yellow chili pepper

Cumin

Paprika

Oregano

Bay leaf

Turmeric

2 tablespoons of Chopped parsley

2 liters of Vegetable or beef broth

1 pinch of Salt

1 pinch of Pepper

Preparation

Step 1 : To prepare this delicious soup, start by chopping the onions, chili peppers, and carrots.

Step 2 : Then, in a pot with a little oil, sauté these ingredients until the onion becomes transparent.

Step 3 : Next, add the meat and sear it on all sides.

Step 4 : Add the broth and incorporate the potatoes into the preparation.

Step 5 : In a separate container, grind the shelled peanuts with a cup of water until you obtain a creamy paste.

Step 6 : When the broth is boiling, add this peanut cream along with cumin, paprika, oregano, turmeric, bay leaf, and chopped parsley.

Step 7 : Let it simmer over low heat for two hours.

Step 8 : Once the time has elapsed, remove the cooked meat, cut it into pieces, and discard the bones.

Step 9 : Finish processing the soup by returning the chopped meat and previously cooked peas into the broth.

Step 10 : To serve this exquisite soup, it is recommended to accompany it with fried potatoes and chopped parsley.
