Ingredients

½ kilogram of Brown sugar

14 Eggs for the bread

1 tablespoon of Salt

2 kilograms of Flour

1 kilogram of Butter

Orange zest

Fig or fruit jam

4 Figurines

3 Eggs for glazing

2 tablespoons of Fresh yeast

2 cups of Warm milk or water

1 kilogram of Flour

Preparation

Step 1 : To prepare this Three Kings Bread recipe, first mix the yeast base with the ingredients in a pot until a homogeneous dough is obtained.

Step 2 : Then, let it rest and cover with a cloth.

Step 3 : In the mixer, place the butter, sugar, and salt, and beat until creamy.

Step 4 : Next, add the eggs one by one, followed by the flour, yeast base, and orange zest or ground cinnamon.

Step 5 : Continue beating for 10 minutes, until the dough pulls away from the sides of the bowl.

Step 6 : Remove the mixture from the mixer and let it rest for about 2 hours.

Step 7 : Then, shape the bread on a greased and floured baking sheet, placing the figurines at the bottom and decorating the top with fruits.
