Sopaipillas
Ingredients
200 grams of Margarine
1 cup of Sugar
4 Eggs
4 cups of Flour
1 teaspoon of Baking powder
¼ teaspoon of Vanilla essence
Cane honey
Grated coconut
Preparation
Step 1 : In a bowl, place the margarine with the sugar and beat.
Step 2 : Then, add the eggs and continue beating.
Step 3 : Add vanilla essence and flour, mixing the ingredients with an folding spatula.
Step 4 : Next, incorporate the baking powder and mix in the same way.
Step 5 : Knead until you obtain a compact and homogeneous dough.
Step 6 : Then, flatten the dough to about one centimeter thick and cut with a round cutter.
Step 7 : Place on a previously greased and floured tray and bake at 170 degrees Celsius for 10 to 12 minutes.
Step 8 : Once baked, let the dough cool and place cane honey in the center, covering with another piece of dough.
Step 9 : Finally, sprinkle with grated coconut.
