Cheese Fartonns

Cheese Fartonns

Ingredients

2 cups of Bread flour

1 cup of Fresh cheese

½ cup of Water

½ cup of Butter

½ cup of Sugar

3 Medium eggs

2 teaspoons of Dry yeast

1 pinch of Salt

Preparation

Step 1 : To prepare these Fartonns, start by dissolving the yeast in warm water.

Step 2 : Then, add the butter, sugar, and eggs into a bowl and mix very well.

Step 3 : Add the flour and salt along with the cheese, and knead the mixture until you get a smooth, soft, and elastic ball.

Step 4 : Let the dough rest in a covered container with a cloth until it doubles in size.

Step 5 : Next, deflate the dough and shape the Fartonns as follows: make small balls of approximately 25 grams each.

Step 6 : Then, stretch each ball to form bars about 25 cm long and place them on a baking tray lined with paper, making sure to space them apart.

Step 7 : Let the bars rest until they triple in volume.

Step 8 : Preheat the oven to 200 degrees Celsius and bake the Fartonns for about 9 minutes.

Step 9 : Once ready, frost them with a glaze made with powdered sugar and water.

Step 10 : Let them cool down and enjoy these delicious Fartonns!
