Bolivian Sopaipilla

Ingredients

Bolivian Sopaipilla

4 cups of Flour

1 tablespoon of Dry yeast

2 tablespoons of Powdered sugar

1 cup of Pisco

3 Egg yolks

1 cup of Anís infusion

2 cups of Hot water

Preparation

Step 1 : In a pot, place the hot water, anís infusion, and the previously dissolved dry yeast.

Step 2 : Mix everything well.

Step 3 : Then, add the beaten egg yolks with sugar to the mixture and gradually incorporate the flour until a dough forms that does not stick to the hands.

Step 4 : Once the dough is ready, divide it into small pieces to shape the sopaipillas and fry in a deep skillet with plenty of oil.

Step 5 : After frying, remove the sopaipillas from the oil and let them rest on absorbent paper to remove excess grease.

Step 6 : Finally, serve the sopaipillas.
