Peanut Chicha
Ingredients
2 cups of Rice
200 grams of Roasted unsalted peanuts
1 Cinnamon stick
8 Cloves
Chancaca
Water
Preparation
Step 1 : In a dry skillet, toast the rice.
Step 2 : Place the water in a pot and cook the rice along with the cloves and cinnamon stick.
Step 3 : When the rice begins to open, turn off the heat and let it cool.
Step 4 : Then, put the rice in a clay container and add two liters of boiling water.
Step 5 : Grind the peanuts until they form a cream, reserving the oil in a glass jar for later.
Step 6 : Next, add the peanuts to the clay container along with the chancaca.
Step 7 : Mix well until reaching the appropriate liquid consistency for the beverage.
Step 8 : Finally, strain and serve.
