Ingredients

1 kilogram of Dried corn

1 ½ cup of Milk

500 grams of Charque

1 Onion

2 tablespoons of Yellow ground chili

1 pinch of Sugar

1 pinch of Salt

Oil

Water

Corn husks

Preparation

Step 1 : Soak the corn for 48 hours.

Step 2 : Then, drain and process it together with the milk, forming a paste which is set aside.

Step 3 : Next, finely chop the onion and sauté in hot oil until transparent.

Step 4 : Add the ground yellow chili, salt, and a pinch of sugar, continuing to cook over moderate heat.

Step 5 : Add the charque paste and cook everything together until ready.

Step 6 : Then, place a portion of the reserved corn paste in the center of each corn husk, followed by a portion of the charque paste.

Step 7 : Wrap the husks and tie them with a strip.

Step 8 : Cook in a pot of boiling water for about half an hour.
