Ingredients

2 Locotos

1 Tomatoes

Quirquiña branches

Huacataya

Chopped onion

1 pinch of Parsley

1 pinch of Salt

Preparation

Step 1 : Cut the tomato into 4 parts and the locotos into 2, removing the cores and seeds if you don't want the sauce to be very spicy, but you can leave them if you prefer it spicier.

Step 2 : Combine all the ingredients in a mortar, blender, or grinder, starting to grind or crush until reaching the desired texture.

Step 3 : Add salt to taste to enhance the flavors and continue mixing until all ingredients are well integrated.

Step 4 : Taste the sauce and adjust the spiciness or salt if necessary, according to your preference.

Step 5 : Serve the llajua, accompanying meats, potatoes, salads, or any dish where you want to give a special Bolivian touch.
